Life according to the Z Man

When I woke up the sun was setting and we were in a new place Mom called Yuma. Here I got to meet more of Mommy’s family- Mom was right, my fan club is wide spread!

The next morning we packed up again and headed out. We stopped several times and the scenery was definitely changing!

It was dark when we finally stopped for what Mommy said was the last time of the day in Lompoc. This time I got to meet Daddy’s cousin and she had little boys similar to me! What fun!

It was late so we didn’t get to spend a lot of time together that night, but we reconvened Thursday morning and had such a fun day together!

It was some day! Time to settle in to our next hotel and get some rest!

The day after my big party, we were all pretty worn out so we spent the day relaxing at Grandma Becky’s enjoying each other’s company!

On Monday we took Auntie Chelsie out to lunch to celebrate her birthday!

And visited Great Grrandma Katie again!

Then on Tuesday I knew something was up- The car was all packed up again and I could sense a sad feeling from my Mommy… Hmmmm…

We went to Great Grandma Sell’s to see her, cousin Morgan and Uncle Michael-

Then we met Grandma Becky and some of her co-workers for lunch-

Dropped by Grandpa Tim’s work-

And finally Grandma Patty-

By this time I was feeling rather frazzled but we hit the road and I went to sleep!

On Saturday the 31st we had a big party at Grandma’s house- All so people can come and meet me! This trip is awesome, it’s ALL about me!

The festivities began with Grandma’s best friend Michelle and my Auntie Chelsie coming over to help set up!

Then people started to arrive! I had so much fun meeting all these new faces!

After a while things became a little overhwhelming, so I clung to Mommy! But opening some presents definitely brought me back around!

Things went well into the night- Boy was I  tired when we finally laid down for bed! Great dreams of such a fun day!

On Thursday the 29th, we just spent the day hanging out with Grandma Becky- And she introduced me to her horses!

Friday afternoon, Mommy took me to visit Grandma Patty!

That night we met Mommy and Daddy’s very close friends Tucker and Carrie for dinner at Macayo’s- It sure smelled good in there, I can’t wait until I can eat there too!

Tomorrow is the day for my big party!

I thought this adventure was all about meeting Grandma Becky, but it’s so much more!

On Monday the 26th I got the chance to meet Grandpa Tim and Uncle Mike, as well as spend more time with Grandma Patty and Uncle Shaun! Grandpa Tim had on this neat shirt with little men on it- I tried everything I could to get them off his shirt so we could play, but to no avail! You win this time dwarfs…

The following evening I met Great Grandma Katie, Great Grandpa Don, cousin Matthew and Auntie Kathy!

On Wednesday, Grandma Becky was watching cousin Morgan so I got to meet her and play with her!

Then her daddy, my Uncle Michael, came over and we all went to see Uncle Tyler run in his track meet!

Had SO much fun and I really like cousin Morgan!

I’m  not entirely sure what was going on, but Mommy put a bunch of my stuff in a large case as well as set aside my bathtub and some of my other things. Then Daddy loaded it all up into a strange silver car I had never seen before! I didn’t mind riding in it though, it had lots of windows for me to see out into the world! After some food and playtime with Grandpa, the three of us hopped in the car and I don’t remember anything else because I was very tired and fell asleep!

When I woke up hungry, we were still in the car and the sun was setting- Something fishy is going on here… But with a full belly and the gentle vibration of the car, I fell asleep again!

This time it was very dark when my rumbling belly woke me up and wherever we were was quite cold! We were still in the car which was very irregular, I really don’t know about all this but I just can’t seem to stay awake long enough to figure this all out!

I awoke again, still in the car with the sun just starting to rise on the horizon. All of my trees are gone! I’m starting to think we aren’t near home anymore! I watched the hills and some cows go past my window before my darn eyes drifted closed once more…

We stopped a couple more times- More hills, very few trees and then past really tall buildings! Daddy and Mommy seemed to be very tired, so we stopped somewhere called a hotel. It was SO good to get out of my car seat, get a bath and play with Mommy! Then we all slept…

The next morning we continued on our way, Mommy says just a few more hours and we’ll be in Phoenix where I’ll get to meet Grandma Becky- Still unsure about all this, but that doesn’t sound so bad…

After a while everything came to a stop on the roadway! We got out of the car and I got to play with Daddy! I also saw some puppies, lots of people walking around (some came over and said hello,) and a guy glided by on a skateboard! What fun!

Before too long we were back in the car and moving again. One more pit stop for my poor empty tummy and then we arrived at Grandma Becky’s! Mommy had showed me pictures of her, but they sure don’t compare to being held by her!

I’m still not sure exactly what this “vacation” thing is, but I think I can get behind it!

I had my 6 month check up yesterday and Dr Fox cleared me to start real food!! So today Mom and Dad gave me rice cereal!!

This is wonderful! Mommy says it’s only going to get better from here and I can’t wait!

I’m 6months old today and have transitioned into the next size up in clothes! Mommy is so proud of me and is enjoying shopping for new clothes!

My first Valentine’s day started out like any other day- Woke up with Mommy, ate, played, napped, repeat… But that evening Grandma Lorri came over and celebrated with all of us! I sure enjoy her company!

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! Hope yours was full of love like mine! Hugs to all from the Z man!

Because I was born on the day of Mommy’s original baby shower, she and Auntie AnnMarie had been discussing a redo at some point when I was healthy enough and allowed to be around a lot of people… Well that day has finally arrived! I got so excited, I even fell asleep playing with Daddy while Mommy got ready this morning!

My first trip to Auntie AnnMarie’s house and it was great! I was adored by all, which I rather enjoy! Cousin Olympia and I also had a lot of fun together!

Then my cousin Oly wanted to show me she had toes too and to try on my socks! She’s so silly!

A good time was had by all, what fun will there be next?!!
